 Fly Away Fridays....our children have been traveling around the World this past winter and will again this year... learning about the life and times of children JUST LIKE US!  Every other Friday we "Flew" to a new part of the World and experienced foods, acitivities, pets, homes and customs of our new friends. We recently got back from "India" and it was an AWESOME place! 

The Wonderful World of Reading....our kids had a reading challenge going on! For each book we read at home or here at Agape....we earned a colored link in our reading chain.  This challenge went on until May 26th and we had a group "winner !" You should see how many books we have already read; 2,275 BOOKS from January to May!   We are on our way toward becoming GREAT readers....so come join the fun!   A New reading challenge will begin soon!    We have a KIDS KAFE that we read in, where hot chocolate and treats were served!  We curl up on pillows next to our "fireplace" by winter and listen to wonderful books being read by our teachers and staff.  WOW!  It feels great on those really cold days!  I guess summer will be "reading under the trees!"  

FALL Kindergarten has begun at Basic Trust and we are already having such a GREAT time!  Ms. Evelyn has so many wonderufl things planned this year along with the already wonderful academic program she offers.  Our children will be reading in no time at all...which is the highlight of our year as you can imagine!

       Agape Child Development Center ’s uniqueness BEGINS with its location!

We share a portion of the grounds within the Baptist Life Community property in Newport Kentucky, over looking the beautiful Ohio Valley. The center is a small, homelike setting where individual attention abounds. Children at Agape have the unique opportunity to interact with the senior population enriching both their lives and those of the seniors. Children visit the seniors sharing songs, crafts, laughter and love with each little visit they make.  The staff of Agape are caring, nurturing individuals with varied experience and backgrounds.

Each staff member receives and is required to involve themselves in continuing education classes that make them the best at what they do. They bring to your child a complete program that is filled with love and learning!
The program activities include: Physical movement, both indoors and out, that is specific to brain development and its relationship to academic readiness. Bible and Character training that teaches “the most desirable and peaceable way to live with their peers” and is a integral part of our program. Beginning academics that will help get your child ready and well on their way to learning and are part of our day to day routine.
Agape uses curriculum that reinforces every thing we have mentioned above.  The program is called "The Pinnacle!"  Our children learn and play through the guidance and instruction of this curriculum in such a way that "Everyone is having fun!"

We offer programs at Agape for Infants up to Kindergarten. We also offer a Before and After-school program and a Summer Camp for your school age child.
Nutritious meals and snacks are offered throughout the day with the occasional pack-a-lunch…just for the fun of it!

Agape is open from 6am until 6pm Monday through Friday.


NEW!   Agape will join Cardinal Hill of NKY.  to offer "Speech and Language Services this fall!"  If you have a child in need of speech and language screening ....call us today!   Speech services will be offered on site!
